Top 5 things I love about White Settlement

Hello, With a population of 18,119, White Settlement is a small town. The median home value here is around $176,500, which is actually reasonable. It's a a small town city with about 18,119 people. Median household income is $56,472, which feels about average for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I wrong here? Thanks! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Maple Ridge. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in tech. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Definitely worth checking out..
