Whitehall in the winter -how bad?

My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 6.7%, which is concerning. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Dallas about 10 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Happy to answer more specific questions..
