Hey folks, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a small town city with about 4,757 people. Rent is about $915/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Whitehouse? Thanks in advance!

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- The outdoor recreation scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.
