What's it really like living in Whitfield?

OK so With a population of 5,346, Whitfield is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 5,346 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I overthinking this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Sunset for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Active local events and festivals

- Close to major attractions

- The weather scene is underrated

The downsides:

- Limited public transit options

- Summers can be brutally hot

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..
