First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Whittier sits at 247.2 per 100K. Household incomes average around $92,374 in Whittier. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up.
