Things Whittier needs to improve

Longtime lurker here, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a smaller city city with about 85,925 people. You can expect to pay around $1,829 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I'm a data analyst and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great sushi places. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
