Wichita Falls is underrated, change my mind
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 11 years and You can expect to pay around $978 for rent here. Poverty rate is 12.0%, which is around average. Household incomes average around $58,568 in Wichita Falls. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
