Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Household incomes average around $79,052 in Wickliffe. It's a a small town city with about 12,639 people. Homes are going for about $158,400 on average. Median household income is $79,052, which feels about average for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Should I be concerned? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Miami about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is pretty good.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is improving in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Midtown. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Italian.
