Biggest downsides of living in Wildomar?

Curious what people think. Born and raised here. Rent is about $1,910/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $95,677 in Wildomar. The unemployment rate is 4.9%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $511,900 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Let me know your thoughts. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Downtown for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- The school system scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
