Cheapest neighborhoods in Wilhoit?

OK so I work in logistics and It's a a small town city with about 1,027 people. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $48,542, which feels on the lower side for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Pros:
- Good schools
- Strong sense of community
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Hot summers
- Limited cultural events
- Homelessness issues downtown
- Not enough green space
What would you do? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 2 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Austin about 10 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are pricey, gas is excellent.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. No regrets on my end..
