Dog-friendly places in Wilkes-Barre?

Hey everyone, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a smaller city city with about 44,217 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Anyone in a similar situation? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in East. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in government. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Italian.
