Is public transit usable in Williams?

Hey everyone, Been living here since 2010. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 11.5%, which is concerning. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Springfield. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in government. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
