Working remotely from Williamston

I'm a college student here and With a population of 5,157, Williamston is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 5,157 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Is this normal for Williamston? Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from LA about 1 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
