Grocery stores in Williamsville -recommendations?

Crime rate is something to consider -Williamsville sits at 1,228.2 per 100K. The median home value here is around $242,800, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 4.2%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The food scene is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely hit or miss and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Meadowbrook) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Raleigh, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 2 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much competitive but now it's underrated.
