Rent vs buy in Williston -what makes sense?

Hey, I'm a 53-year-old police officer and Homes are going for about $262,700 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Williston sits at 459.2 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
