Hello, My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $1,106/month for a decent place. Median household income is $84,309, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Cedar Grove. It's better than expected for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in construction. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Southern.
