The good and bad of living in Wilmington

Hey folks, I'm retired and It's a a mid-size city city with about 119K people. You can expect to pay around $1,311 for rent here. With a population of 119K, Wilmington is a mid-size city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Anyone in a similar situation? The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
