Curious what people think. Military spouse here. It's a a smaller city city with about 47,740 people. Rent is about $925/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 19.2%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here? Any help is appreciated.
