Just moved to Wilsonville, any tips?

I relocated for work and You can expect to pay around $1,839 for rent here. Median household income is $87,371, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,183 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Worth the trade-offs? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Denver about 5 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are wild, gas is challenging.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Hope this helps!.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much affordable but now it's hit or miss.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Oak Park. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Definitely worth checking out..
