Honest thoughts on life in Wilton Manors

Random thought, What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cheers. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in marketing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Charlotte it's hit or miss.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.
