Planning a move to Winchester -neighborhoods?

Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $2,271/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $1,181,700, which is pretty steep. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Baltimore it's hit or miss.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Old Town. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in finance. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Came here for weather and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The cost of living is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
