Just moved to Winchester, any tips?

Hello, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $64,648, which feels about average for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I wrong here?

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The healthcare is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely improving and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (South) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Limited shopping options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community vibe is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely pretty good and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
