Remote worker thinking about Winder

Curious what people think. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like sushi.

No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Lakewood. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
