Windermere housing prices -when will it stop?
Hey everyone, Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 6 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is average.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The housing market is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.
