Is Windsor good for remote workers?

Alright, It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The safety is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Charlotte about 9 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Limited entertainment options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is solid.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 9 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
