Considering Windsor vs Albuquerque -help me decide
Random thought, Been living here since 2005. Rent is about $1,780/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from New York about 5 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is solid.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Good luck with whatever you decide..
