Day-to-day life in Windsor, CO

Longtime lurker here, I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $562,300, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.
