My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Winfield sits at 274.5 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cheers.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much affordable but now it's surprisingly good.
