Is it worth buying in Winnemucca?

Military spouse here. You can expect to pay around $969 for rent here. Median household income is $80,844, which feels pretty solid for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 7 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into running, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
