OK so My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Winooski sits at 313.1 per 100K. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What do you all think? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
