What's it really like living in Winslow?

Hey folks, I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $143,200 on average. Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Random thought, Rent is about $929/month for a decent place. Median household income is $53,114, which feels on the lower side for the area. Longtime lurker here, It's a a small town city with about 8,831 people. Homes are going for about $143,200 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for Winslow? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
