Housing in Winter Gardens compared to Austin

I've been here for 19 years and It's a a small town city with about 22,003 people. Homes are going for about $558,800 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Winter Gardens sits at 318.0 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. What neighborhoods would you suggest? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much developing but now it's pretty good.
