Just moved to Winter Gardens, any tips?

I'm a college student here and Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Let me know your thoughts.

Used to live on the Uptown side, now on the West side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Midtown. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Riverside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The healthcare scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Definitely worth checking out..
