Should I move to Winter Park or stay in Phoenix?

Rent is about $1,653/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thanks for reading.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I work in construction here and I love the pace of life here. The job market for my field is better than expected. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 2 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
