Winter Springs is underrated, change my mind
Hey folks, Been living here since 2015. Poverty rate is 6.5%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. Rent is about $1,779/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
Pros:
- Friendly people
- Close to nature
- Good airport connections
Cons:
- Hot summers
- Rising rent prices
- Not very walkable
- Poor road conditions
