Biggest downsides of living in Winthrop Harbor?
Hey folks, Poverty rate is 4.2%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $94,221, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
