Is Winthrop Harbor worth it salary-wise?

OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The unemployment rate is 8.2%, which is concerning. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Moved here from Miami about 12 years ago. it's not perfect but it works for me. Still getting used to nightlife but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
