Anyone regret moving to Wolfdale?

Hi all, I work in legal and Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely better than expected and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (East) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
