Not sure if this has been asked before, but I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,985/month for a decent place. Median household income is $100,370, which feels pretty solid for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
