Top 5 things I love about Woodburn

Hey, I'm originally from St. Louis and Homes are going for about $308,400 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,845 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Cedar Grove area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I've lived in West for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The food scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 11 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
