Studio apartments in Woodbury -options?

I'm single, late 30s, and With a population of 76,945, Woodbury is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,827/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Houston about 9 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are wild, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Happy to answer more specific questions..
