Working in Woodbury -salaries realistic?

I work in tech and Median household income is $126,222, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 76,945, Woodbury is a smaller city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Anyone in a similar situation? Appreciate any input. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Moved here from Pittsburgh about 1 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to pet-friendliness but Happy to answer more specific questions..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (East) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
