Just moved to Woodhaven, any tips?

Longtime lurker here, I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $221,200 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
