Curious what people think. Just moved here 18 months ago and Homes are going for about $1,032,900 on average. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 13,440, Woodinville is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Woodinville sits at 76.5 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Worth the trade-offs? Cheers. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to.

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a social worker who relocated here from Houston about 6 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are developing, gas is excellent.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Hope this helps!.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Vietnamese places. it's exactly what I was looking for.
