Raising a family in Woodinville -thoughts?

First post here. Been living here since 2015. Homes are going for about $1,032,900 on average. It's a a small town city with about 13,440 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in The Heights. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
