Woodinville is underrated, change my mind

Just moved here 7 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Woodinville sits at 76.5 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Westside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Great outdoor activities nearby

- Good internet infrastructure

- The outdoor recreation scene is average

The downsides:

- Not very walkable outside downtown

- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
