Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Woodland sits at 366.2 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,500 for rent here. Median household income is $87,880, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $505,200 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
