Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Woodland sits at 366.2 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,500 for rent here. Median household income is $87,880, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $505,200 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
