Dog-friendly places in Woodland?

We have two kids and It's a a smaller city city with about 61,256 people. You can expect to pay around $1,500 for rent here. The median home value here is around $505,200, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 5.8%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Baltimore about 2 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is underrated.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
