Is public transit usable in Woodland?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a smaller city city with about 61,256 people. Poverty rate is 5.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $87,880, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $87,880 in Woodland. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What do you all think? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Minneapolis about 1 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are growing, gas is underrated.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. No regrets on my end..

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The safety is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
