Anyone regret moving to Woodlawn CDP (Carroll County)?

Curious what people think. Just moved here 10 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Woodlawn CDP (Carroll County) sits at 184.6 per 100K. Household incomes average around $89,375 in Woodlawn CDP (Carroll County). The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Would love some local perspective. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 6 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
